"Hey, don’t you even dare do that again!" my opponent mumbled, playfully
offended, and started a new attack on me. Right away I felt a wave of
hot air and blazing colours flashing by my cheek. The man with the
fiery red hair lived up to his element.

"Ah!" I got frightened and went a step back. "Watch out, Axel! My hair!"

"You and your hair," he grinned. "Look what you’ve done with mine!"

I looked to him and just realized that his stormy hairstyle stopped
looking so stormy. It was all wet and stuck to his face, and I really had
to wonder how he could see with that.

Has anyone realized that poor Marco is all alone in the end?
(Well ok, beeing with "only" 13 other commanders isn't "alone" but hell, you know what I mean)

so I felt like drawing a sad picture

I rly love the first one, Thatch is faaar tooo small though, I KNOW he's taller than Marco, but otherwise his hairstyle wouldn't fit the paper xD
Second is quite ok for me
Third sucks, I'm not good in drawing strong emotions on someones face.

The red bond wants to symbolise the frinedship between those three and in the end it constrains lonely Marco with the feeling of everyone dying in front of him

It really does make you sad looking down the panels, but it's a very nice piece for that. You really feel the emotion. : )
